Fittie Bar

The Famous Fittie Bar.

Now under new management

The Fittie Bar first opened in 1821, having a few different owners over that 200+ years. At that time, it was very much a pub for local residents, shipyard workers, and seafarers. Over the decades, it has evolved into what we have today.

Because of our historic links, we are still proud to support those in the maritime industry, and Aberdeen Lifeboat.

The pub is now very much a local pub, family and dog friendly, with food served daily. You can see our menus on the food page.

We have worked hard to bring in new beers, wines, spirits, and a range of soft drinks, as well as brining in new menus.

In recent years, the bar has featured in the TV show, Granite Harbour, as the pub "Bodach Stone" and in a short film called "No Ladies Allowed" about another Aberdeen bar that didnt allow females in, as they had no "facilities" for women, which they now do have.

We regularly get visitors from the US, Europe, and cruise ship passengers coming in after they've visited the beachfront and Fittie Village, which is just along the road from us.
